The Dive-SAR is a constant-wear, helicopter-hoistable harness identical in construction to the TRI-SAR with the addition of an upper chest strap. The additional strap counteracts the weight of a scuba tank, ensuring the slightly reclined and seated hoist position, and the harness is designed to allow the user to wear an integrated or Mae West style buoyancy compensator.
