The FML-7 floating marker light automatically rights itself and activates when thrown overboard, producing a minimum of 7 candelas per flash in all directions of the upper hemisphere with 360-degree visibility for over 3 miles. It runs 36 hours at maximum brightness and over 30 days at reduced brightness on two easily replaced D-cell batteries, housed in a high-strength ASA-Polycarbonate case. It is USCG SOLAS approved (161.110/30/0), EC/US MRA approved for worldwide use, approved for USCG units under MPC D-C-13204, and comes with mounting hardware and a compliant lanyard for commercial vessels and USCG small boats and cutters.
