Sacrificial plastic skid shoes that attach securely to the frame of LSC rescue baskets (and litters) to protect the tubing from wear caused by aircraft non-skid and concrete, extending the service life of the devices while protecting flooring in helicopter cabins. The shoes create 5.28 square inches (34 square cm) of surface area, reducing point loading on composite cabin floors to 43 PSI, and come with tie straps and adhesive tape installed.
