A drone-deployable auto-inflating flotation device for water emergencies where seconds count: drone pilots drop the Rescue Log near a person in trouble and it inflates on contact with the water into a flotation log with reflective fluoro grab handles. Tested to EN ISO 12402-9:2020 (test report RS/FTL/3526, December 2024), it delivers 275 Newtons of buoyancy from a 60-gram UML auto cylinder at just 0.95 kg, with SOLAS-grade reflective tape, a SOLAS water-activated light, and the option of a sea anchor. Packed ready-to-drop, or vacuum packed for extra-long life between servicing.
